This tool was designed 30 years ago by Bernard Jones Engineering, Mr Bernard Jones a Mini owner himself, found the fitting of the rear brake cylinder clip a job that needed certain "knack" so after struggling he put his mind to making an easy solution and came up with this easy but effective tool.... and it works!

Screwing the bolt into the brake cylinder and then by tightening the nut the clip moves over the cone and into the groove, fitting the clip with ease. However, the clip must be placed on the cone the correct way or else it will dig into the cone and damage tool, the cone part of the tool is heat treated for durability.

Please note that this item DOES NOT come with the clip or the rear brake cylinder.
